CTDOT has obtained, or is in the process of obtaining, the following permits for the I-84 Waterbury Project:

State Permits (Through the CT. Dept. of Energy and Environmental Protection):

• Wetlands and Watercourses – Individual Permit
• 401 Water Quality Certificate – Individual Permit
• Flood Management Certification for all regulated floodplain crossings
• Stormwater and Dewatering Wastewaters from Construction Activities – General Permit

Federal Permits:

• US Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) Section 404 – Individual Permit
