This spring, there will be two Public Listening Sessions at which members of the public are invited to share experiences concerning the ongoing construction, its progress, and impacts to date. The sessions will be held at a local business within the projects limits, and the Public Information Team will listen to what the public has to say and record questions and comments on the project. Answers to questions will later be provided directly to individuals and posted on the website.
Where: Stop & Shop, 410 Reidville Drive, Waterbury, CT
When: Thursday, March 24 - noon to 2:30 PM
Wednesday, March 30 - 9:00 AM to noon
The Public Information Team will be at the Waterbury Senior Center to present an update on the progress of the Project to date and to hear comments from regional senior citizens.

Time: 11:00 AM to noon
The Connecticut Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting to update stakeholders on the current construction, and what to expect in the future. Residents, business owners, and travelers are encouraged to attend.

Public Information meetings will be held to inform the public of progress during construction or when there is a major change in the Maintenance and Protection of Traffic pattern.
Check out our Facebook page that will post weekly updates to help the public and drivers anticipate and navigate changes in the corridor during construction for both the short-term and long-term.
Public Listening Session, August 1, 2015
The I-84 Waterbury Project held a Public Listening Session, at the Brooklyn Baking Company located at 464 Reidville Drive in Waterbury, during which the public was invited to stop in and share experiences or thoughts on the current I-84 reconstruction project with public involvement staff.
The questions asked have been compiled and responses are now available for review in the link below. Some comments from that session are also featured on the homepage of the website, and photos of the event are in the July – September 2015 section on the Photo Gallery page on the News and Resources tab.
